Lots of Support
I'm getting a lot of messages from encouragement. Even my podiatrist, who gave me a $100 discount, said to tell my wife that if she needs anything medical, he'll help her find the right doc.

Got lunch yesterday from my coworkers. Great Uniformed Services Leave benefits at work.

I came across this press release

Which makes me "feel" better about the CIA report on Iraq's WMD program

tomorrow is the big packing day!

Count down, T minus 5 days.
This site is very impressive. I hope it won't go the way of AltaVista web access (and then email) while I'm gone.

My National Guard unit has been activated. Here's the schedule, subject to lots of change:
January 3 - 5 Home station in Tamaqua
Jan 5 - 12 Fort Indiantown Gap
Jan 12 - ? Fort Dix for 3 to 5 months of training
Spring 2004 - six weeks to acclimate "in theatre" - I'm guessing Kuwait
Spring 2004 - 12 months in Iraq
Spring 2005 - 1 month post deployment processing
